Frazer Madder died on 16 November 2016, aged 71. In many ways what the Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club is now stems from his real passion for the Club and what it did and does for motorsport in Scotland and beyond. He was the second of the Club’s three Chairmen to date, serving in that role for nearly 27 years. He set very demanding standards for the conversion, equipping, crewing and operation of successive SMMC Rescue Units, many of which he personally kitted out himself without outside help. A fuller tribute to Frazer will be issued in a couple of weeks’ time.
His funeral will take place on Thursday 1st December at 2pm at West Lothian Crematorium near Livingston and to which all are invited.
