Scottish Sporting Car Club and the Junior 1000 Ecosse Championship have come together to organise a 3-event winter series for 14 – 17 year-old drivers. The series is run over the first three months of 2018, and can be used as a warm-up for existing competitors in the J1000 Championship, or for newcomers looking to get a start in low-cost motorsport.
It will also be useful for new entrants in the J1000 Championship who need to do three autotests to qualify for a competition licence.

The series is open to any driver under 18 years old on the day of the final event in the series, and any non-turbo car up to 1400cc can be used.
The dates of the events are;
- Round 1 25th January at Ardeer
- Round 2 11th February at Kames
- Round 3 3rd March at Johnstone
Registration for the series is free, and includes free club membership where required. Training sessions will be arranged for newcommers.
